He is also the director of the Institute for Environmental Issues (IVM) and he contributes his expertise in the fields of water management, risk management, insurance, decision-making, adaptation and climate change. He is working Deltares-wide on strategic issues and projects. In addition, his new role is strengthening the alliance between IVM/VU- University and Deltares. JEROEN AERTS JOINS DELTARES A delegation of the International Advisory Board with some members of the Deltares management. International Advisory Board work on the international stage. The board will meet once a year but it may also be approached in the interim with specific questions. It will be chaired by the Dutch Water Envoy Henk Ovink. The other members are:
