33 Large-scale update of D-HYDRO Suite simulation package The changing climate and weather extre- mes increasingly require an integrated approach to sustainable water, subsurface and infrastructure solutions. Over the past year, D-HYDRO Suite has implemented a number of important improvements to give water managers and other professionals more grip on these integrated design and management issues. The powerful simu- lation software focuses specifically on a cross-system approach to coasts and river basins for both rural and urban areas. Delft-FEWS makes data visual The Delft-FEWS data platform has been given a comprehensive update so that it can process more data and visualise it more accurately. This important upgrade has been achieved by, among other things, smaller and less expensive sensors in combination with the 'internet of things'. The latter means that monitoring devices are interconnected through the internet, with a enormous increase in the amount of water and soil data as a result. Would you like to know more about the new Delft- FEWS options? You can hear about all the very latest developments at the Deltares Software Days Edition 2020. You can register voor de Delft-FEWS NL events (theme: achieve more with data) via https:/ softwaredagen.deltares.nl/2020 . Delft-FEWS webinar 'Achieve more with data' The Delft-FEWS (2019.02) release provides better access to all these data for, among others, water managers, allowing them to make more targeted water management decisions. In his webinar, Dave Casson reviews the new application options. 2020 D-HYDRO events Would you like to know more about all the improvements in D-HYDRO Suite? Sign up for the 2020 D-HYDRO events on the Deltares Software Days - 2020 Edition (DSD-NL 2020). The improvements that have been made include: • Urban water management (1D/2D); • Inundation in the rural area as a result of intense precipitation and dike breaches (1D/2D); • Sixth-generationmodels of Rijkswaterstaat (1D/2D/3D), • Good Modelling Practice (GMP); • Software services in the Cloud; • 3D visualisation techniques and web viewers.
